House Martin Mouldings: House Martin skirting board and architrave is manufactured from a hardened polyurethane extrusion. These products are waterproof, tough and hard. Flexible options for curved walls and arches are a unique option with our range. As a suggestion panel mouldings can be used to add creativity and LED lighting can be fitted into our skirting boards.
Installation: General DIY skills are all you need to install. Our skirting board and architrave products installation is less work than wooden skirting boards and architrave. Wood skirting boards and architrave is supplied planed, so will require sanding, knotting solution and painting with both primer and undercoat. House Martin skirting board and architrave is delivered ready for the top coat of paint to finish off. Just fit our skirting boards and architrave with our formulated adhesives and paint to finish. All orders are supplied with detailed instructions.
Benefits of Polyurethane: Hardened polyurethane has the benefits of being a plastic, whilst like wood joints can be smoothed with glass paper and gaps filled with caulking, and then painted. Any repairs needed, can be made in exactly the same way. Our product is harder than most wooden skirting board and architrave and therefore impact resistant which can be easily dented. Hardened polyurethane is waterproof, a material advantage over MDF and wood. Many rooms such as bathrooms, kitchens and utility rooms will all benefit from this feature, as does any laminated floor. Many of the best selling designs have a flexible version which is unique to our product to be used on curved walls and bays.
