The Orac Luxxus KC3 column is one of our most intricate capital designs. The KC3 fluted column has a capital style feature of scrolled acanthus leaves combined with small Ionic style scrolls. The earliest examples of these wonderful architectural features still remain at the Temple of Octavia in Corinth. By selecting an Orac KC3 column clients will be able to recreate this ancient Greek theme on their own grand design.
The Orac KC3 column stands at almost 8ft tall, and sits on a circular duropolymer man made base. This is a tough hard material. Each KC3 shaft is produced from lightweight polyurethane which can be trimmed with a small toothed stiff bladed saw should a shorter overall column be required. The K1122 Ionic capital has 4 bold scrolls fanning out from the centre. At the base of each capital there is a neat egg and dart relief. All our Orac columns are man made long life products, and will function well on interior or exterior applications. Each component has a primer applied in the factory, leaving the customer with a single coat application after installation is complete. Typical applications externally include decorative canopy "supports", and internally KC3 columns make lovely decorations for bathrooms and larger drawing rooms. House Martin have been supplying columns across the country since 2002, and we are happy to deliver these from Buckinhamshire to Rutland, UK and Europe.
